Well I’ve come to the conclusion that this whole thing between me and her was bound to implode from the very moment I told her I liked her. I guess I’ve also come to accept that I’m probably better off without her, she helped me feel better about myself just by being my friend back then but if she can’t do that now because she “doesn’t think she’s the one to help” me then I guess I was wrong about her being a true friend. I mean for the love of god is it really so hard to just go back to treating me the same she did when we first got to know each other? That’s all I was asking of her and all I wanted to do was just make things right and be friends again, which is what she wanted. But you know what? If every attempt at trying to patch things up between us is just taken as me making more attempts to get in her pants and woo her into dating me then clearly there’s not a lot of trust between us and I don’t need that.
